Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre

How Can I Be Involved?

Volunteer

The Volunteer Program annually encourages and supports 150+ clients and community members to work with KDCHC in making the community a healthier place. KDCHC volunteers serve on working advisory groups focused on Seniors, Mental Health and Homelessness among others. They also provide peer support through programs like Breastfeeding Buddies, Growing Up Downtown & Living on a Survival Budget. KDCHC volunteers help write newsletters such as Street Voice, maintain our resource collection of books and videos, and assist with specific tasks such as clerical support and maintaining our recycling program.
